AI funding in 2026 is heavily concentrated in three sectors: autonomous robotics led $42B in deals, AI infrastructure and chip design followed at $38B, and healthcare AI rounded out the top at $29B, according to Crunchbase data. Together they accounted for nearly 60% of all AI venture capital deployed this year, far outpacing consumer AI applications at just $11B.
